Hello everyone,
I am still here, and I’ve been busy writing. The next few weeks are set to get even busier with a personal milestone on the horizon. First up, I’m going away for a few weeks at the end of May when I travel to Greece to attend one of my best friend's wedding. I’m an Usher for the ceremony.
Then on June 21st, I turn the big 4 0, yes 40. This milestone, for me, is an extraordinary and poignant moment in my life. When I was born, my parents were told that I wouldn’t have any life and would need full-time care. So to get to this point and defy all the odds. Being independent, a bestselling author, and a songwriter gives me a sense of rewarding satisfaction. It gives me such an emotional feeling, and if I can use my life story to make a difference and show others with disabilities that being disabled doesn’t mean that you can’t follow and achieve your dreams and aspirations, then great. Remember always to be you and never to give up.
In other news, I’ve been working with a fabulously talented singer and actress, Jamie-Louise Dobbins. Her new single is called Strangers, and I’ve co-written this song with Al Steele. It is out on May 21st on all major distribution platforms like iTunes and Spotify. So make sure you are all ready to download and stream it from this date. I also have some more exciting news about another one of my collaborations, but I can’t say too much about this one just yet.

So, lots are happening over the next few weeks with jet setting off to Greece and partying into my 40s. I can’t believe I’ve nearly made it to 40. Still, I have no intentions of taking my foot off the gas regarding my writing endeavours. It’s the opposite, so it’s full-throttle ahead, and I’m going to write still, come up with new ideas and collaborate on many projects for a long time to come. There’s so much I want to write about, so try and stop me!! I’ll still be working hard and on hand to do business over these next busy few weeks. So, there’s no need to panic.
